Center for Traveler Information
Grant funding is provided to the University of Mississippi for the research project titled "University of Mississippi Center for Traveler Information". The objectives of the proposed research center will be completed by a multi-disciplinary team that will: (1) develop new, and expand existing coursework to reinforce the objectives of the center'; (2) recruit a diverse team of faculty, graduate students, and industry partners; (3) develop, perform, and fund research relevant to the goals of the center; (4) subject the research to peer-review in journals and conferences, and (5) transfer developed technological solutions to the private sector to ensure traveler access to solutions.
