Gulf Coast Study Phase II

Phase II of the Gulf Coast Study moves the study of climate change impacts from the research realm to that of planning practice. Phase I raised awareness of the idea that climate impacts are important considerations for transportation planners and engineers. Phase II will build on that information to develop more definitive information about impacts at the local level or smaller region and develop more precise tools and guides for transportation planners to use in deciding how to adapt to potential climate impacts.
