Great Lakes Maritime Research

The OST-P and the Maritime Administration (MARAD) will collaborate with the Great Lakes Maritime Research Institute to complete research efforts in marine transportation, logistics, economics engineering, environmental planning and port management. The Institute will conduct research and analyses on Great Lakes maritime issues that provide a resource to serve the Department of Transportation (DOT), MARAD, Great Lakes port authorities and communities and other Great Lakes Stakeholders.
