The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) will upgrade its radio communication system to integrate with the Franklin County Public Safety system so that its dispatchers and bus drivers can have direct communications with the county police and emergency forces. COTA also will install automated vehicle locator system on a portion of the existing transit fleet and provides real-time transit information in selected central business district bus stop locations.
