Reconnecting America's Center for Transit Oriented Development
This cooperative agreement enables Reconnecting America's Center for Transit-Oriented Development (Center) to partner with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) to advance the field of transit-oriented development (TOD) through the development and dissemination of research, data analysis, best practices, and tools that foster more sustainable and equitable community development near transit stations. The center will continue to expand knowledge of the critical linkages between mixed-income housing, economic development, and transit, as well as develop an online national TOD database of demographics, land use data and travel behavior data for existing and planned fixed transit station in the U.S. and more.
