Clean Car Sharing and Mobility Program

The Clean Car Sharing Mobility Program will seek to expand the capability of car sharing by incorporating clean fuel vehicles into American cities. The program linked with mass transit will maximize the benefits from existing transportation resources by allowing commuters from dispersed suburban neighborhoods to Car Share (Car Pool) to transit stations, leave their vehicle and ride mass transit the last link of their trip into the city. This project encourages the development and utilization of advanced transportation technologies in partnership with transit agencies. It focuses on three primary projects: (1) Innovative Clean Mobility; (2) Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Bus Technology Facilitation; and, (3) Advanced Transportation Technology Industry Support.
