Center for Advanced Transportation Initiatives

This cooperative agreement supports Rutgers University's transportation research, education, and workforce training programs. Under this effort, the Center for Advanced Transportation Initiatives will advance four objectives: (1) Further expand and enhance the university's transportation-related research and educational portfolio; (2) Advance regional awareness of transportation issues and opportunities; (3) Address local and regional transportation challenges that are in line with the federal government's priorities; and (4) Address high-risk/high reward type projects of interest to the Federal Transit Administration (FTA).
