Condition-Based Maintenance Program

The objective of this research project is to support the efforts of Transportation Technology Center, Incorporated. to improve rail transit systems by developing a Condition-Based Maintenance Program that can be applied to rail transit operations and can improve capital and operating efficiencies. The research will provide a set of decision tools that can enable a rail transit operator or other stakeholders to determine if a condition-based maintenance is technically feasible and cost effective.
