Adv. Tools for Decision Support for Transp Wildlife & EcoSys
This research is intended to advance tools to streamline the Section 7 ESA process such as the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) biological assessment (BA) tool and the United States Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) Information Planning and Consultation (IPaC) tool both web-based applications. The research also seeks to make these systems compatible with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Consultation Information Record System. This research piloted USFWS IPAC to streamline FHWA projects in Arkansas.
