FAA SPIDER Proof-of-Concept Fragment Impact Testing
The Redstone Test Center (RTC) will conduct up to 40 fragment impact (FI) tests in support of testing, firing selected stainless steel projectiles into aluminum sheets at varying aspect angles to determine penetration velocities, entrance and exit velocities.
