Ultra-Low Flammability Polymer Materials for Aircraft
The purpose of this effort is to investigate: (1) new, reactive deoxybenzoin monomers, including "high performance" structures and branching topologies that improve processibility; (2) novel polyhydroxyamide derivative polymers, and; (3) new approaches for improved fire-safe polymer composite and nanocomposite materials.
