Characterization of Aluminum and Titanium for Dynamic Loading Applications
The objective of this research project is to create a high quality database that characterizes the mechanical response (load deformation relations and failure) of 2024-T351 aluminum alloy and Ti-6-4 Titanium alloy over a wide range of loading conditions, strain rates, and temperatures.
