Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) of a Segmental Concrete Bridge Scheduled for Demolition, with a Focus on Condition Assessment and Corrosion Detection of Internal Tendons

The main objective of this project is to carry out limited non-destructive tests, in the field on the segmental concrete bridge described earlier, prior to its demolition, to evaluate the merits of non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques to a) condition assessment of segmental concrete bridges, b) corrosion detection and c) evaluate the merits of different approaches that could be used during bi-annual bridge inspection to detect major changes in the structural characteristics of segmental concrete bridges
