Feedstock Evaluation
A limiting factor to biodiesel's greater national market penetration is the ability of the industry to supply sufficient feedstocks for significant diesel replacement. This effort will provide the biodiesel industry an opportunity to thoroughly research a variety of feedstock scenarios to increase raw material supplies in order to achieve up to a 5% national diesel replacement, a goal of the Department of Energy's (DOE's) Freedom Car Program.
