Trip-Generation Rates Methodology for Smart-Growth Land-Use Projects
Building on data from the Caltrans and National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) Infill Trip Generation Rates efforts and other data, this Task will create a deployable analysis tool for estimating the quantities and modes of travel associated with proposed urban infill and other land use PROJECTS with smart growth characteristics. Such a tool does not currently exist, but is very much needed by cities and counties and by the Caltrans Local Development/IGR program.
