Tie-Back Wall Corrosion Investigation

The objectives of this project are to review the performance condition of the US 27 tie-back wall in Campbell County, review the performance/condition of a similar tie-back wall on KY 227 in Carroll County, assess the extent of the corrosion damage and determine the corrosion mechanisms that have damaged the major steel components of the US 27 tie-back wall, recommend remedial actions for addressing corrosion and prevent similar problems on other KYTC tie-back walls, and monitor KYTC remedial actions/repairs on the US 27 tie-back wall.
