Transportation Research Board's 2011 Data Conference Support
The Transportation Research Board (TRB) of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) will organize and conduct a two-day conference scheduled for December 2011, to be held at the Beckman Center, located on the campus of the University of California, Irvine. The conference will address key issues related to exploring systematic approaches to providing data that are needed to support critical decisions facing state, regional, and local transportation agencies in the next five to ten years. The conference will convene policy makers, program managers, and data experts from states, metropolitan planning organizations, academia, and the private sector to discuss the issues and examine potential approaches to meeting critical data needs in several key areas.
