Demonstration of a Low-Cost Vehicle Monitoring System for Tractor-Trailers
The ability to identify certain characteristics of the towed trailers has the potential to improve efficacy of existing on board safety systems as well as enabling new technologies to be developed. In this Phase I study, the Contractor will leverage prior related Department of Defense (DOD) funded research, development and commercialization activities to demonstrate key features of a preproduction, second-generation prototype wireless Vehicle Monitoring System (VMS).
