Stabilizing Steep Embankment and Cut Slopes
This project demonstrates a technique for stabilizing steep cut and embankment slopes on weathering (highly erodible) soils. A specially designed anchoring system allows employing a stabilization material (geocells) normally suitable only for much flatter slopes. Remaining activity is to document performance of the technique.
