The Honda/Dynamic Research Incorporated Advanced Crash Avoidance Technologies Program(ACAT) II project is focused on head-on crashes where driver inattention may be a contributing factor. This research will investigate the feasibility of developing a safety impact methodology that can estimate the safety benefits of Honda's pre-production Head-on Collision Avoidance System (H CAAS).
