Transportation Systems Modeling Research
Transfer $837,540.00 to the Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering at Mississippi State University to support the development and application of a Transportation Systems Modeling Research Program per the provision in the House Conference Report on the USDOT FY '06 Appropriation Act TPR&D Budget. The focus of the research program will be on the development of methodologies and software algorithms necessary for realistic simulation of pedestrian traffic at intermodal connector facilities such as airports, subway terminals, and bus stations.
