Research for the AASHTO Standing Committee on the Environment. Task 32. Linking Environmental Resource and Transportation Planning--The Current State of Practice

<font size="3">This project will determine the extent to which environmental resource management plans are being considered during transportation project planning, environmental analysis, design and maintenance/operations. The research will examine plans for watershed management, water quality restoration, fisheries/wildlife management/restoration, threatened/endangered species protection and recovery, historic preservation, and open space preservation. The report will summarize results and recommend next steps to enhance integration of transportation and resource management planning.</font>
