Research for AASHTO Standing Committee on Highways. Task 288. National Calibration of MEPDG Rigid Pavement Models Based on Corrected CTE Values

This research will (1) revise the long-term pavement performance (LTPP) data files used in the national calibration of the Mechanistic-Empirical Pavement Design Guide (MEPDG) rigid pavement models to correct for previous errors in the measurement of coefficients of thermal expansion, (2) recalibrate the MEPDG with the new data files, and (3) validate the output of the recalibrated MEPDG for analysis and design of rigid pavements.
