Development of a Multimodal Framework for Human Factors Research and Development
It is estimated that as many as 80 percent of transportation-related accidents are caused by human error. This study will be used to produce a framework to ensure the systematic consideration of the human element in transportation research and identify human factors research priorities in the department.
