Corrosion Monitoring of New York Suspension Bridges
The objective of this research project is to develop suitable monitoring sensors for suspension bridges to asses the corrosion of steel cables. The development work is in progress and developed sensors evaluated in the laboratory will be utilized to retrofit some of the cables in the Manhattan Bridge (suspension bridge) for continuous corrosion monitoring. The interim report will be available.
