Definition and Determination of Remaining Service and Structural Life
The objective of this research project is to develop broad definitions for Remaining Service and Structural Life (RSL) that are consistent, unambiguous, and defensible, review current and future data availability in defining the measures and processes for determining RSL and develop procedures for determining RSL at both the project and network level to meet the current and emerging design, contracting, maintenance, and management practices.
