Analysis of the Impacts on Existing Roadside Hardware of Updated Crashworthiness Criteria
The objective of this research project is to determine through crash simulations whether commonly deployed roadside safety hardware will meet the updated safety performance criteria. Update or create new vehicle hardware models to determine if there are practical options to upgrade existing hardware to meet the new criteria.
