Channelized Right-Turn Lanes at Signalized Intersections: Traffic Control Empirical Investigation - UTC

The ultimate objective of this research is to have a better understanding of the effectiveness of various traffic control devices that are used to regulate access at channelized right turn lanes. Towards this end, this research aims at screening the state of the art and the current practice regarding any guidance on the use of channelized lanes for right turns and the selection of appropriate traffic control for access regulation.
