Cache Metropolitan Planning Organization Traveler Preference Survey
Utah State University provided assistance to the Cache Metropolitan Planning Organization to support their air quality modeling efforts. The county requested that traffic counts be conducted on major thoroughfares and analyses performed on the data collected. USU conducted 32 counts each for three days utilizing automated traffic counting equipment. The data was analyzed and formatted for use in the Cache MPO air quality model. Validation and verification methods were employed to ensure data quality and applicability to the greater modeling effort.
