Southern California Regional Transit Training Consortium
This project supports the continuing efforts of the Southern California Regional Transit Training Consortium (Consortium) to provide an education and training resource network comprised of public and private organizations--focused on the development and employment of the transit industry's workforce that is proficient in the standards, practices, and procedures for incumbent and new workers. It is a marriage of the transit industry with educational institutions in order to make use of local educational expertise for transit providers. The Consortium was created and incorporated in January 2004 in response to the industry's need for a trained technical/mechanical labor force.
