GIS Archeological Predictive Modeling Phase II

This project takes the existing Pike County archeological modeling protocol and extends it across the Hazard Hills Physiographic Region. United Kingdom (UK) researchers will explore the nature of model modification that are necessary to adjust for a broader, but arguable similar, spacial context for archeological sites. Develop a predictive surface for the Hazard Hills Physiographic Region. Also develop protocol to address broad pattern of surface disturbances that impact modeling lake impoundments, surface mining, railroad and highway roadbed construction.
