National Transportation Agreement on Research and Innovation Between Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP)
The results of the research shall be translated into development of recommendations and guidance, prototypes for programmatic approaches, and dissemination of best practices to facilitate environmental process efficiency and improvements. Dissemination of research results will enhance inter-agency coordination, contribute to capacity building within FHWA's environmental discipline, support more effective collaboration among the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP), State Historic Preservation Officers (SHPOs), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), State Department of Transportation (DOT) and stakeholder groups, and promote planning and environment linkages.
