Rapid Replacement of Bridge Decks - Phase V, Laboratory Evaluation of Deck Systems
This research expands on work currently underway in previous phases, to address the problem of major interstate bridges with significant levels of deck cracking and deterioration and methods to allow rapid deck replacement with minimal costs and traffic disruption. This phase would provide the laboratory data needed to assess the in-service and long-term performance of critical deck components and lead to implementation recommendations.
