Speed and Safety in North Carolina

The main objectives of this research are to: (1) describe the problem of speeding-related crashes for North Carolina (NC), (2) identify gaps in our knowledge base and important research questions related to speeding and safety for NC, (3) identify, acquire and link various databases, or collect new data that can be used to address research questions and knowledge gaps identified, (4) analyze the data, and (5) develop a report and other presentation materials that summarizes key findings and recommended strategies to address the problems identified.
