Moisture Sensor Investigation for Historic Covered Bridges
The purpose of this research is to investigate the potential of fiber-optics and other sensor technologies to reliably monitor in-situ wood moisture contents in historic covered bridges. These finding will also be useful for developing smart timber bridge technologies.
