Quantify Overlay Quantities Before Construction Letting

The objective of this project is to: (1) determine Ground Penetrating Radar's ability to accurately quantify delaminated and unsound concrete on bridge decks prior to bidding; (2) provide an easy mechanism for identifying areas on bridge decks that need to be removed and repaired for bidding purposes; and (3) conduct a cost/benefit analysis of using this type of technology versus conventional methods to determine repair quantities.
