Weigh-In-Motion Demonstration and Evaluation Project
Research report reflecting field evaluation of three mainline, high speed WIM (weigh-in-motion) technologies with recommendation for Department's adoption of WIM standards, specifications and technology type for commercial vehicle electronic screening and asset management. The desired outcome for this project is a comprehensive research, development and testing effort, including field evaluation of a minimum of three WIM technologies, resulting in a final selection of the most appropriate technology to meet the requirements of the Department's commercial vehicle electronic screening system and asset management requirements.
