Fish Passage Capability through Modified Culverts: Flume Research Study
The objective of this research project is to measure fish passage success by designing a flume that has the capability for testing several bed treatments and several turbulence and velocity variables. This flume will be used to test existing and new bed configurations and treatments, and to optimize successful configurations. The flume needs to be designed to allow accuracy in scaling and instrumented with observational (video) turbulence and velocity equipment.
