Bridge Deck Material Properties

This project will produce a final report that will explain the mechanics of bridge deck cracking together with a computer model that can be used as a tool to analyze the potential for bridge deck cracking. The project will determine a comprehensive mechanics-based theory for the analysis of early age cracking of composite bridge decks subjected to hydro-thermal volume changes. Implement theory in a Finite Element Model (FEM) computer program.
