Bridge Repair Using Steel Reinforced Polymer on US 150 (Washington-Nelson County, Springfield Bardstown Road) over Beech Fork Creek, KY

This project will repair and monitor performance after repair of a bridge located in Washington-Nelson County, US 150 (Springfield Bardstown Road) over Beech Fork Creek. There are four reinforced concrete girders per span supporting the superstructure. Each girder in the three interior spans have two crack regions. The crack regions are located near the transition of the constant depth region and the variable depth region of each girder. The crack regions will be repaired using high strength externally bonded steel reinforced polymer (SPR) sheets. Repair will be monitored for performance.
