Investigation of Voids/Cracking on the 1-275 Twin Bridges over the Ohio River in Kenton County, KY
Center personnel will investigate and evaluate voids/cracking problems found on the I-275 (Combs-Hehl) twin bridges over the Ohio River in Kenton County. Project work will include: 1) insertation of a pipeline inspection camera to determine the approximate size of the voids; 2) nondestructive evaluation of the eastbound approach pavement; and 3) instrumentation of bridge members to obtain stress-displacement measurements.
