Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer Strengthening of the KY 714 Bridge over Jeptha Creek in Shelby County

This is an Innovative Bridge project that will repair and strengthen the cracked prestressed concrete girders of the KY 714 bridge over Jeptha Creek with carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) fabric. The performance of the repairs will be monitored and evaluated for three years after installation.
