High Strength and High Modulus CFRP Laminates Strengthening of Steel Girders on I-65 in Louisville

This is an Innovative Bridge project that will strengthen the steel girders on the elevated portion of I-65 in Louisville using high strength and high modulus Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) laminates. After installation, the repair will be monitored and evaluated for three years.
