Use of Self-Consolidating Concrete (SCC) in Prestressed Concrete Girders
The main objectives of this project are as follows: (1) Develop Self-Consolidating Concrete (SCC) concrete mixtures for use in the Alabama prestress industry; (2) Evaluate the early-age and long-term behavior of SCC mixtures in concrete girder; and (3) After the additional future phases, the deliverable of the research proposed in this proposal is to develop implementation guidelines and recommendations for Alabama Department of Transportation (AL DOT).
