Sensors and Signal Processing for High Accuracy Passenger Counting
This project will examine the use of LIDAR to develop a high accuracy prototype system for the counting of passengers as they enter and exit a transit bus. The ability to produce such passenger counts would be extremely useful to transit agencies in the development of bus routing.
