Time-Varying Queueing Systems and Transportation Nework Resilience Transportation Corridor

This project will conduct a literature review on how the use of time-varying arrival rates can model the behavior of alternate routing due to transportation link failure. This is very important in addressing the resilience and vulnerability of transportation networks and corridors during disruption. Currently, the use of a data-driven approach in developing mobility patterns and indices in traffic simulation models is virtually non-existent.
