LRFD Deep Foundation Design

The objective of this research is to provide recommendation revisions to the driven pile and drilled shaft portions of Section 10 of the AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications ro reflect current best practice in geotechnical design and construction. In addition, the research shall provide a detailed procedure for calibrating deep foundation resistance factors.
