The objective of this project was to document 15 case studies to illustrate applications of Context-Sensitive Design, with specific emphasis on community-based solutions. Special attention was given to documentation of tools and techniques to support CSD principles and practices. It is intended that the results from this documentation of CSD case studies will provide a series of applications of flexible design concepts serving as practical examples for roadway designers and others involved in the project development process.
