Test of Prestressed Concrete Beam Repaired with Carbon Fiber Fabrics

The project will remove three beams from the Ala Moana Shopping Center in Honolulu to perform tests at the University of Hawaii. One beam was previously repaired using Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymers (CFRP). The other two identical un-repaired beams will act as control specimens. Comparisons will be made between the control beams and the repaired beam as well as with anticipated performance based on the design calculations.
