Effects of Ferry-induced Scour on Structures as WSF Terminals
Propeller wash currents scour sediments around pilings and other ferry terminal structures. The process is not well understood, and the erosion reduces the bearing capacity of structures. This project will develop a scour prediction process for WSF to be used in designing a scour protection strategy.
